BTCCSquare news:

The New York Stock Exchange is building a blockchain-powered platform for trading tokenized equities and ETFs. This initiative could transform traditional market structures by enabling 24/7 trading, fractional shares, and instant settlement—features typically associated with cryptocurrency markets.

The platform will integrate with NYSE's existing Pillar matching engine while adding support for dollar-denominated orders and stablecoin transactions. Tokenized securities will maintain identical shareholder rights to their traditional counterparts, bridging legacy finance with blockchain efficiency.

Pending regulatory approval, the MOVE signals institutional recognition of blockchain's potential to enhance liquidity and accessibility. The development aligns with growing demand for round-the-clock trading venues as digital asset markets operate nonstop.
